Daintree Falls sits on Eastern Kuku Yalanji Country, in the world's oldest living rainforest. It is owned and cared for by the Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation, on behalf of its Traditional Owners.
Every stay is an act of care — for the rainforest, its waterways, and the culture that has looked after this place for tens of thousands of years. The property itself was a philanthropic gift to the community from Roger Allan and Maggie Gray. It now forms an integral part of the Green Economy strategy, providing self-determination pathways for the Yalanji community.

Daintree Falls is owned by the Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation on behalf of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people — not outside shareholders. The property is a Green Economy blueprint for ‘Integrated Agriculture’ which involves the integration of agriculture and sustainable rainforest restoration of much of the property. Through its existence, a range of social and cultural outcomes are being worked towards including training the future generations of Yalanji guides and rangers who you may encounter on the land during your stay.
